Subaru Banner more lift

what is an easy and cheap way to get more suspension lift out of an old subaru...i live near some mountains so i like to take it offroad but it bottoms out on just the gravel...

You can fab up a body lift yourself if you have decent fabrication skills.

your best bet is to get ahold of John in Eugene Oregon (if you are in the Northwest) and have him make you a lift (he can go up to 12 inches)

The other way to go is to buy a lift from PK davis (very well proven lifts) (dont get me wrong, Johns are good too) his address is www.ozified.com

I will be installing a PK lift on my 82 BRAT shortly after I get my 88 GL out of there. I havnt installed a lift YET so I dont know how hard it is, but the approximate price for the kit is $350.

It may take a while... I've had the BRAT since June and its still barely started on. THe lift kit is in the corner still boxed up under some tools. I guess the other cars kept taking priority.

I will post pictures when its done though

i dont know if this will work on yours but i did ths to an old chevette just get some metal pipe that same size as your springs and just put it on between the spring and the body you may need to get bigger shocks/struts tell me how it works out
