Give me some good news on 98 outbacks
Parents are looking at a 98 outback limited.
trans blew on their aclaim today and it is history. Just wanted wondering if their is anything good or bad that I should relay to them before they possbly make this purchase. they love my RS and my dad is done with American cars (post carburated his wagoneer with a 383 will never die has 250,000) Thanks

If they could find a MY99 some of the Legacys that year had the Phase II block with the Phase I heads. From what I hear this is the most "desireable" of the EJ2.5s.
Aside from the weaker engine in the 98 it is a standard Soob. Little quirks here and there but that is part of thier coolness factory. Tim |
