Default little trouble with 6 speed swap into 04 wrx

i would like to say that i have read a lot of the sti swaps into wrx's but cant seem to find info on this because everyone seems to use the sti flywheel and clutch. this is the problem that i may have...

so i bought a complete 04 sti trans. with diff, controller, axles, drive shaft, fork, slave cylinder to put into my 04 wrx. i just recently bought a light weight flywheel and 3+ clutch from spec for a wrx. i know that the wrx uses a pull type slave cylinder while the sti uses a push type. but i have heard of people using there wrx clutch with a 6 speed will that work?
looking to stay cheep.

yes, 5spd clutch/flywheel combo works with the 6spd.

04 WRX and 04 STI use the same kind of clutch. You won't be able to use the factory DCCD Controller.

Not entirely true. The 2002-2005 5speed clutch and flywheel combos will work with all STI transmissions. They are known as the pull style because the clutch fork pulls the throwout bearing away to disengage the pressure plate.

The 2006-2007 5 speed (I don't know about the 2008-2009) will not work with the STi transmissions because they are push style. The clutch fork pushes the throwout bearing to disengage the pressure plate.

And the OEMK DCCD controller can be made to work, but the amount of swaping and wiring and general work makes it next to impossible. An aftermarket controller is your best bet.

It's more than wiring. If you start with an 04-05. You'll need ABS system specific to those years (04 and 05 ABS is very different from each other). If you go 06+ you need ABS for that year AND a complete steering wheel setup to supply the yaw sensor.

I have factory DCCD in my swap but, I swapped EVERYTHING. Even the fuel tank and rear harness (for the Diff temp sensor).
