You mean a stencil for the STi logo? They're pretty easy to make actually. Just print the logo in greyscale on either a piece of heavy card stock paper, or a transparency sheet (these work a little better) Cut it out with a razor knife and go to town.

bringing this back from the dead,

last sunday we got about 6 inches of snow in charlotte, and i went out to play, and almost lost a flap, they held up just fine, but the things i have to hold the flaps to the car are not so great in the deap stuff...

im also in the process of re-doing the flaps all together, my first set were just too long, so im takeing off 2 inches from the origional length in the back.

ill take a few pictures in the morning, when i can get some light....

how are others holding up??

when you redo them, i would suggest cutting right at that indent where its stamped. that seems like the perfect length to me...

camera was dead today, so ill try and take some pix tomorrow

Can someone please tell me the thickness of the sheets you are using?

No Ikea near me so i think i will go with either trucker flaps cut to size or order some black Polypropylene. Just don't know how thick to get it.

Thanks!!

I bought some cutting board sheets (identical to the ikea sheets). My sheets came clear so I cut out the flaps and painted them with black plastic gloss spray paint. I Put them on the car and what do you know......the next day we got snow. To say the least, the sand, rocks, and snow stripped off the paint, chipped the hell out of the flaps, and tore part of the back flaps in half. To say the least, I put the rally armors back on there.

the ikea ones didnt have any trouble with actual tearing, mine just poped off where i had it attached to the car (my fault for useing bad clips). im thinking hard about painting mine... its just got to get warm enough

my 06 didnt come with stock hardware... so i went to auto zone and got some long 1/4 inch expanding screws (you run a screw into the fitting and it gets fatter so it dosent pull back out)

aso for the the holes... drill the top one where you want it... then its a game of measurements... you can try to guess and check useing the smallest bit you have untill you match the holes and like how the flaps are angled...
