When you guys bench do you arch your back, and keep your ass, and just your shoulders on the bench?

Arch back, your weight should be on your upper back/traps area.

I would LOVE something like this: Video Link: http://www.amazon.com/Olympic-Rubber-Bumper-Plate-Colored/dp/B00422967K/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1301967691&sr=8-3

if it could be had for under $300.
Try thekettlebellking.com. They sell Troy vtx plates for pretty cheap. I have 355lbs of them and zero complaints.

Topped my 3rd week 1st wave of 5/3/1 deadlift with 4x345lb, which is a PR for me.

It's gotta be da shoes!

Followed with a quick blast of a wod, 3 rounds, 20 pullups, 25 kettlebell swings (53#), 30 pushups.

Even in the Master's division, I'm pathetically weak. Should be a great event with lots of big names moving big weights. Heck, it'll be a honor to compete on the same platform as those guys - regardless of your total.

In my opinion, anyone that competes is a winner.
