Fuel Line Question. '98 LGT w/EJ205 swap
Okay, sorry if this is a newbie question, but I have been searching for an hour and haven't found the answer.
I'm trying to verify that I hooked up the fuel lines properly, and the pictures that I took for reference aren't helping me. Can someone confirm which line goes to which between the chassis hard lines, and the engine hard lines. I know the top two on the engine are feed/return, and the bottom is EVAP, but I'm not sure which is which for the feed/return. As far as the chassis side, I have no idea but I "think" the top is EVAP, and the bottom two are feed/return. Can someone who has done a swap in this car help?

follow the line, it should feed into the fuel rail. if it does start, swap the around; you only have two lines to deal with.

are the chassis lines on the Legacy the same as the WRX? Basically what I need to know is which chassis hard line is the EVAP line on the Legacy?

chassis, as in where they are mounted on the strut tower?
if so yes. Feed=middle line Return=top line evap=dinky little bottom line just follow the lines to the fuel filter. |

Yes, the lines behind the shock tower. According to the pictures I took of the WRX chassis lines, the bottom line (black) goes to the fuel filter, then from the fuel filter to the top line on the engine. The top line (grey) on the chassis goes to the middle line on the engine, which means the middle line on the chassis (blue) is for the EVAP system.
Here are the pictures I took of both cars before I started anything. The hard lines on both chassis are colored the same way, so I would think they would hook up the same way, but I want to make sure before I start pumping fuel into the charcoal canister |

his is how I have it hooked up right now, and from what I can tell in my old pictures, it's the same as the WRX.

yes its right, just start the car up already. You wont hurt it if its wrong, it just wont start. But it looks correct. Always label lines in correct order with a piece of masking tape and a marker so you dont have to run into this problem again.
