it locks the center diff... but you really should only run the car locked on loose surfaces... even then, your front and rear diffs are still open.

Glad that you like it!! I am in the White wagon in the second video. It was fun making it...the editing department was a lil off that day tho. all turned out good, however!

I'm wannabe rally GR2's and h&r's... way lower than I should be for offroad. At least I have a skidplate :P

Tokico D-spec wrx sedan struts with 12" ground control springs (accommodated by lowered front perches and shortened rear top hats) ,a big skid plate, and 225/50/16 all seasons. tad higher than stock and fun as hell on gravel!

Link to my setup

Cool stuff.

Gotta get me a cheap old Subie and lift it. Whenever I find a place I can take it offroad.

I gotcher ground clearance. . .
11.5 inches to the rear diff.

With the old tires:

How it looks next to a stock one the same year. 05 Leg Gt wheels with 06 OB XT tires. 225/55/17

I've had lots of lifted Soobs. And I could care less who hates them.
That's me in the pic with the gen one, I go way back with Soobs, hence the user name.

And lastly, hardly rally prepped, but I took it Rally Xing once or twice.

I know that I will probably get flamed for this, but here it goes
Before-JiC FLT-A2's with 17" Subzeros

Now-KYB AGX struts, GrpN tophats, 07 Forester XT springs and stock wheels!! BIG difference!

Feedback please!

I dig it, it's not something you see every day. The flaps are a bit much given the tires, but I'm assuming you're going to toss on something meaty, so that'll finish it off. I would have gone with big black flaps as I tend to like the red flaps on white, silver and red...........but it's function over form anyways

I'm laughing after reading post 2 because of how my STi's set up...and my plates (click)

Not going to link inline so I don't trash the thread.

Suppose I could play with my other car, many moons ago:

real nice when you were on those roads and making sharp turns, it looked like you used takumi's gutter trick to stay in lane
