Unfortunately can't bring the Silvia as the ECU is currently at Jim wolf technology being reflashed. Having the speed limiter removed and raising the redline and some
Other minor stuff.

So you're bringing the Evo instead?

Is there no open source software for tuning Nissans? I'd hate to have to send the ECU anytime I wanted to change something. Since the 240 has become mostly a track car, have you considered getting some sort of standalone engine management? I think MegaSquirt on that car would be fun/awesome.

Believe it or not, we aren't really looking for any added power out of the nissan. It really has plenty for our skill level. Maybe eventually we will, but we will probabaly just get a different car in all likelyhood if we decide we need more power. C5s are cheap now...
What was annoying us was the top speed was limited at 118mph on the nissan. This should increase it to something like 160 which we will never hit anyway. On the 2 big straights at VIR we were hitting the governor well before we got to the braking zones and it was just frustrating.
I also dropped the nissan exhaust off at quality welders to have them fix two of my hangers. We made this custom flexible exhaust section in the middle of the exhaust so that when I am drifting and I bottom the car out on the red and white rumble strips the flex section simply moves out of the way rather than becoming crumpled. Seems to be working well so far. but as a result I needed to lengthen 2 of the hangers because we were having an issue with the hangers coming out under hard braking. This should fix the issue.
I actually might show up briefly with the evo....

Any suggestions for a body shop in town? 2100 miles in and some idiot clips me cause he didn't look changing lanes. Not another freaking car on the road.

I had to follow him down to some sketchy places by the IX building where he hides in his house while his pissed off son tries to intimidate me into just taking a little money. Finally got some insurance info from the car owner (not the driver, never saw him again), and got the hell out.

Just some rubber smears scratches on the plastic bumped and a small dent in front right corner panel, but I want to make it gets fixed freaking perfectly. I need to make it out to one of the meets eventually, always have catering jobs in on Fridays.

Fast reply, seems I'm not the only one up early on a Saturday morning. Thanks for the recommendation. Hopefully there's no insurance issues and this doesn't mess with my rates since it was completely his fault.

Another recommendation for Taylor's! I've known Chris Taylor and his dad for years. They repaired my car after it was rear-ended last July. And good luck with the guy's insurance. The guy that hit me ran too, but I caught him. Never got a cent from him, at least not yet, and my insurance had to pay, along with my $500 deductable.

3 recommendations is enough for me. Sounds like that's the place I'm going. Can't wait for the adjuster to come tomorrow so I can clean off some of the tire rub and see how it looks underneath. Thanks all

Some of us don't have the reflexes of a 25-year old anymore, so we drive as fast as we can on back roads and mountain roads!
Glad you had a good time at the auto-x. How'd you do?
