Angry Jinxed? Or just Plain UnLucky??!!

Arghhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! [Yes this is a long rant & rave]

It was about a month ago my car was involved in a auto accident. Not my fault what-so-ever, just freak occurance: my neighbor was pulling away from the curb. She didn't see this Mitsu Eclipse speeding down this local, street where the speed limit is 25mph. So the Mitsu sideswipes my neighbor and manages (don't ask me how!) a textbook overturn. Secondary to the 1st hit, my neighbor swipes my parked car too. Needless to say, I woke up to this, ran out, treated the drivers (I'm a FireFighter & EMT). Then I turned around to shed a little tear for my scratched Subie. Well, that was a month ago- May 15th. I just got the settlement check today to pay for the damages.
Now I get home tonight from my girlfriend's house from this allnight session: she was having a nervous breakdown so I drove an hour to see her last night @ 11pm. I get home tonight, check the mail- yes! I got my insurance check! I'm surfing the web- reading the BBoards, chatting on the phone, relaxing. My mom comes home, runs into my room and asks me if i'm alright and all. I reply sure, why? She then asks me if I was involved in a MVA?!? I say no, now mind you I'm sitting on my bed relaxing from a long night. I walk outside and what do I see!?! Some POS,Muthaf**ka crushed in my driver's door . You can see where the metal skin wrapped around the sideimpact beam. No scratches so I can't tell what color car/truck it is. Just rubber reminants from the bumper. It's prolly a SUV/truck judging by the height and they are ones who have those types of bumper. You can even see ridges from the bumper that hit me.

I'm too exhausted to throw a proper fit , so i call the cops, they take a report. Now what can I say! I'm out of the $500 deductable for my insurance..and I'm broke..... Oh BTW, forgot to mention. My car got hit while parked in front my house where it got hit last time!!!! Guess I'm never gonna park on the street again! Now if anything else happens to my car again....this car is gone!

Man that blows, really sorry to hear about all your troubles. Hate to say it but someone may have put a curse on you. have you found any dead chickens laying near the car in the last few weeks? Well heres what you do get two lizards tails, 1 eye of newt, 1 buzzard gizzard, a pigs intestines, 1 complete halibut, 1 Sloan, and a case of your favorite alchoholic beverage. Take all the gross stuff and put it in the blender then blend for 1 minute. Then find out who did this dastardly deed go to thier place of residence pour this concoction in any nook and cranny you can find it leaves a great smell then go home and relax by getting rid of all that alchohol.
Hey it won't get rid of your curse but at least you'll have gotten a little revenge on a Suby killer.

Thumbs down

Okay, got the estimate from the insurance company today: $1436.68 for a new door. Of course they only give me $900 and change cause of deductable. Sooooo...That brings the running total of damage to my car since Decemeber: $2100 and change...... dammit!!

Ugh... that suks!!! Had a fool lane change into me a few months ago - damaged 3 left body panels (door, front and rear... jeez good fking shot...)
anyway, my deductible is a grand so since it was his fault I bitched and moaned and threated to sue his insurance company for the damages - -
end result: car brand new - no out of pocket cost to me (except 70 for renter's insurance for the rental car)
Maybe you should talk to his company directly.

Oh yeah - I didn't sue (of course - It was all my BS...) and the damages assessed by my insurance company and his were above 1500...

Mizen,

can't sue- Hit and Run. NO idea who did except that It's gotta be a SUV: Suburban,Tahoo,Yukon or Blazer type truck. You can tell by the way my door is crushed in, the ridges left behind and the fact that my mirror was miraculously not touched....grrrr!
