I think we'll see this start to shift as EV gains wider acceptance, long-term ownership impacts become more well understood, and technology advances taper. I think it'll also shift as we see more "normal" looking EV's hit the market. Give it 5 years and I don't think the depreciation will look as bad.

Glad I purchased my 2014 JKUR for $36k before Jeep went insane with their pricing. A similar 2019 was around $50k.
Used my lifetime warranty on the Wrangler to have a coolant leak repaired yesterday.

The service advisor informed me that in addition to the high pricing of the new Wranglers, Jeep is no longer offering their "Maximum Care" lifetime warranty as it wasn't profitable. He recently had a customer have a ~$7k engine replacement covered by it.

very nice... I tried that option, but my wife wanted the pup to ride in the car with me.... soooooooo that conversation ended.
