My bad I read a lot of your build but you have a ton of pages lol. I use your car as a platform for my build you have done a great job with it. Hope your situation is ok and we see something even better soon

That video is awesome, thanks for putting it together. It's hard to imagine you'll be content with stage 1. I know it's not a "typical" stage 1, but still...

Thank you for an awesome thread and a wealth of high quality information.

Im not sure what is going on with the part out though... if i had to part out a car like this, I would keep the downpipe and stay at least stage 2. Selling an used catless dp is not very profitable vs the loss in performance. Maybe xluben is up to something "new" and just wanted a dd?

I'm ASSuming he's going rotated... By my calculations that would warrant the selling of all the parts he sold. We'll see...

I hope you didn't think it was that easy

Purely hypothetical. The FiveO 1200cc injectors have been sold locally.

To be honest, he essentially has the setup I'm craving. Except I'd stop at Stage 2. Fully built engine at stage 2 with supporting suspension mods. Nice hefty safety factor for having all the fun with 300 whp / 300 torque.

Mounts, bushings, etc are all staying. Those are still good for Stage 1.

I would be perfectly content with

-Mildly built motor
-Specb gearbox
-Vf52
-Pump/E tune
-Equal lengths (i love them)
-Catback

Aka a stage 2 STi

EDIT: When I say mildly built, I mean a motor that can handle some timing/boost without ****ting a ringland at 350whp

That would be such a fun setup. Pretty much how it should be from the factory!

I took some quick shots of the VF52 vs. the DOM 1.5XTR.

Obviously the VF52 is used (but in excellent condition), and the DOM is brand new.

No, the VF52 is not for sale and the DOM 1.5XTR is already sold.

I just took the pictures because I had them available and thought someone might enjoy seeing them.
