Default 2005 WRX STI - Questions

Hey guys,

So my mum just bought me a 2005 WRX STI. I was thinking of making into a drag car but FWD. I already have another thrad on that though.

I just want to know, what's the best turbo for under $800? I think I noticed one from Kinaguawa or something on Ebay - is anybody using that?

My last car was pretty fast, but I really want to make my STI FAST. I was thinking of doing an EJ207 swap as well, but another guy on here said I can't do it for my budget of $10k - is that true?

Just need some help. I'm from the Honda world and there's just a lot more complicated stuff with my Subaru!!

Thanks for all the help guys.

You're better off with the ej257. Just work on the internals, and you should check the turbo 2.5 threads, there's alot of info there, this is for the 2.0.

What I meant to say is that the ej207 is not that much better than the ej257. Just stick with the 2.5 and build it with better internals, what's your power goals?
