[B]Engine and drivetrain Parts[/b]
I'll use this section to answer questions that come up about the engine and drivetrain.
***SOLD***The shortblock: ***SOLD*** ***SOLD*** The Transmission: ***SOLD*** Heads: Parted out. They were fine but someone wanted the castings, then couldn't buy them. The castings with the matching cam holders, the cams, the valves, the springs, cups, shims... all in pieces. Sold together or part by part. I'll have pics up soon. The casings w/ cam-holders are $600 shipped for the pair. $850 for the heads, cams, valves, springs, seals, shims, buckets and retainers. Last edited by 2phless; 03-27-2007 at 12:03 PM. |

Hey man, you going to be home this evening? I'd like to come by and grab what I had previously mentioned. I'll even remove the part myself all u-pick style (since it takes all of 15 seconds.)
edit: I do not envy you disassembling in this horridly cold weather. Ugh. -Biggly |

I need this plastic window trim piece when you get around to taking it off:
(no, it's not my car in the pic.) I could also use the cup holder thingy under the middle dash vents. Mine is teh borked. EDIT: oh yeah, and if you can convince me that a front strut bar will make a noticable difference, I might take your cusco piece. (I'm already running a 40mm cusco rear strut bar, coilovers and f/r sways) Last edited by rodder; 12-08-2006 at 02:56 PM. |

You have to use the BB code from putfile to link their pictures like [URL=http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=35...
But I'd sell those back, yes. You think unmounting will be easier than mounting? |

It's been a long day. I have everything that bolts to the front of the car off. Engine, tranny, steering, suspension... I'm tired and my fingers are numb. Tomorrow should bring the rest of everything from underneath the car. Then on to the interior on sunday. If I shred an entire STi in a weekend I may have a new occupation.
Anyhoo. I'll try to stay sober enough tonight to start on the list and come up with some dollar values. (I'm not off to a good start though... I use beer like chicks in commercials use Calgon.) So an initial list should get posted by the morning I hope. Thank you for your patience... except for those of you who already broke the rules. |

What kind of rear sway bar do you have?
Interested in the rear sway and downpipe (depending on what it is?) Last edited by KevlarSTi; 12-08-2006 at 10:06 PM. |
