General makes an *alright* tire. Better than BF Goodrich, worse than Continental, Michelin, Bridgestone, etc.
General would be the last of the tires I'd consider. I'd have to be pretty desperate to not buy a Michelin or conti

I ran generals on a truck for some time, fantastic tire. I liked it a little better than the bfg's I ran before but still liked those. I never used conti, but ran Michelins on my dually. They were good for hwy, but nothing like the generals for all-terrain use. I'd maybe agree with you on some tires, but not across the board. When I get an XV, I'm going directly to generals with new wheels.

Im pretty happy with the stock yoko's for daily use, but will be looking into tires and a lift in a year or so.

Lol ummm...
Well, I'm going to wait a while, but I want to do the Primitive Racing lift on it and some slightly larger tires. I may fund it by selling my roof rails. I will admit that the lifted car look has grown on me a lot, but I'm not itching to lift it just yet. I want to see some others do it and hear about how well it works. But I'm thinking another inch and a half or so and the entry/exit will be even more comfortable. |

BF Goodrich does not make a good tire for 99% of regular car drivers. They work fine on trucks that are towing trailers and stuff but otherwise you don't want a BF tire. Continental isn't the best either, but it's better than general. +/- for each tire model but: Michelin is better than Continental is better than Bridgestone is better than Goodyear is better than Dunlop is better than Yoko and the rest are mostly jokes. |

BFG AT's are awesome tires. They're a staple of the offroad world.

That's weird, I was just on Subaru's website a few hours ago and they didn't have that up. I assume they don't have prices posted yet?

That's $4k above base model. Does the base hybrid have additional trim?
I don't know, that's like 2 years worth of gas, assuming the hybrid uses no gas at all, which it wont. It's 300 lbs heavier, the electric motor is tiny, it uses NiMH (really?) batteries. Meh. Fuel economy "The car maker projects an EPA fuel economy rating of 31 mpg combined (28 mpg city, 34 mpg highway)." Are these numbers right? Is that even an improvement? +3 city, +1 highway. That's like maybe $150 a year in gas. tl;dr It's not worth the premium in gas. Not this system at least. http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/savemoney.shtml |

Yeah, the premium for the hybrid is definitely not worth it unless you can't live without the turn signal mirrors, keyless start or plasma green paint.

Looks like a good time! Btw, what are you running over in that 4th pic? Also, did you disable TC / VSC?
