Car cover for MY 2000 impreza RS
I just got a winter beater (however ridiculous it is that I choose to drive a 13 year old civic through a chicago winter instead of a subaru!), but I was wondering if anyone knows of someone who manufactures a cover for a 2000 RS. I am drivng the car on a weekly basis, but only like 20-30 miles a week. I just need something to prevent it from being eternally covered in snow and ice.
I wasnt sure where this should be posted, but winter / maintenece seemed to go in the same category in my head. -Brendan

Although I hadn't gotten a expensive car cover (mine was about $25 from Kmart), car covers work as long as you don't get the car dirty with it on. I used to always cover up the car every night, but the buildup of slush, salt, and dirt would lightly scratch the paint when I had the cover on... which also got the inside of the cover dirty. You also gotta remember, if your car's wet (or you dont use a waterproof cover), the water would freeze the cover to your car. Other than that, you'll be protecting your car's paint from mother nature with the car cover on.
