The questions are too hard. I love Subarus, but geez, how many paint molecules are used, on average, on the left-rear quarter panel anyway?

If the questions were easy, then it would just be a random drawing with a few hundred applicants.

Uh, but isn't that a plastic model from Tamiya? Is that a question?

Actually, I think it's a picture of a 1:18 diecast model from AUTOart (see http://www.legacydiecast.com/xq/asp/.../qx/review.htm).

So great! We've identified the model. Now who knows how many of these AUTOart made and when?

are you asking how many models of that car AutoArt made or how many Subaru made of the actual car? Because I answered the latter ... thinking that you were using the picture of the AutoArt model just because you needed a picture...

I was kidding, too. Jamie needs to be a little more precise and pay closer attention to her "phraseology." After all, the stakes are high!

The first two pix were of a Type R (2-door coupe). Now a third picture depicts a Type RA (4-door sedan).

i'll make it even easier

*limited edition run of one model year only
*it's NOT A TYPE RA
*to make it simple, use only the photo below as the model apparently never came in a coupe form - the "die cast" model was inaccurate.

there are a few who know the car...
i've got about 8 correct answers thus far

Hey all, google is your friend. I got this within 5 mins of searching. There are several websites out there that talk about this car. The model kit tripped me up as well, but I took a guess and was right!!

That is not to say that I want to help you as my 1 in 8 chance is not too bad.

Guess I am not destined for a grounding kit. My eyes hurt from looking. None of the limited edition models I found came in yellow, just blues and grays. Tough question Jamie.

All of those Old-School Imprezas look the same to me. I've taken the liberty of enlarging and sharpening the picture to see more detail.

I say make this one harder -

Where was it available?
How many of each body style were made?
What is the actual name of the color?
What were the options that made this car different from a standard car?

Jeez, 20 more days. The suspense is going to kill me!!!
