Will the OEM 6 disc changer fit an MY00 Outback?
Anyone know about this.

While it *will* plug right in, certain pins may have different wires connected to them (especially the illumination wires), so I'd look at a wiring diagram before risking frying the HU.

Sure, it will fit and look nice, but not as good as a decent aftermarket HU.

DIN sizes are universal... it's not like you have to buy new dash pieces to install 2 new head units My 2004 Forester 6-disc works and fits perfectly in my 2000 RS. Not sure about the Outback though, but it should be exactly the same |
