Question H&R springs: consensus???

OK, so after putting some nice springs/struts on my DSM, I am turning to my Legacy 2.5GT sedan. I like the way my car looks, but it would look much nicer lower. I am contemplating the H&Rs over the Eibachs because the H&Rs lower the car about 1.5 at each corner. I know Jamie has these springs, but I am a little weary of using them with stock struts. Unfortunately the only shock really available right now is the GABs, and cheapest I have found them is for 225 EACH. No thanks. I will not use KYB GR2's in the Legacy.

So, anyone else using these springs? How do you like them? Also, I am fearing my 215/45/17 tires on the +47mm 17*7 rims will possibly rub the fenderwells.

Kevin

I am using the GR-2's on the my DSM...they are much better than the stock worn struts, but aren't good when lowering a car 1.5", like with the H&R's. And after seeing how nice the STi V5 struts are (that went on my brothers 2.5RS), the GR-2's are downright embarrassing.

I don't think the STi V5 stuff will work on the Legacy (well, I know none of the aftermarket stuff is interchangeable, which is why I say that). I was just commenting on how nice the stuff was that my bro put on his Impreza.

Jealous really. That's all.

Speaking of H&R Springs.. There is a shop here in the Seattle area that can get a set of 4 of these babys for 213.85. List on a set of 4 is 329.00!! Check them out at www.evolutionsports.com

Front lowers 1.25 and rear lowers 1.00.

Personally, I don't need to be that low to the ground for fear of my front ground effects gettin' messed up.
