Default Should I keep the samco or go for the aps turbo inlet

Just like the title say should I keep the Samco or go with the aps turbo inlet? Has anyone ever heard of the samco turbo inlet closing? I will be running between 25 - 28 lbs of boost. What do you guys think?

Just from personal experience and preference, I would always go with pipes over hoses. Just a bit trickier to fit since they don't budge. Don't have to worry about them closing, ripping, etc. And what happens if you want to add a vacuum port to a hose? You can't.

Thanks for the info, I was already leaning that way. It just helps confirm what I was thinking.

you can add vaccum port to a hose, fyi. but i would sugguest adding a a hundred bucks for the aps inlet for a sure fire way and just for realiablity reasons.

port for hoses (http://www.atpturbo.com/Merchant2/me...egory_Code=BCS)

In light of the fact that installing the APS pipe requires taking off and putting back on the intake manifold (4 hour+ job), I'd just stay with the Samco hose. The Samco hose is quite stiff already because it's 5 ply silicon (unlike some of the other hoses on the market).
