I live in the New England area, so I chose not to paint.

Post

I recently had my side skirts, rear skirts, fog light covers, and the brake ducts painted BRP by a reputable body shop for $300. This included flex agents in the paint for the plasticness of the pieces, as well as etching primer to ensure good bonding. Thought it was a good deal. I've heard of cheaper individual pricing, but if you know where you want to go, just go and pay the extra $20 or whatever over the cheaper place. MHO.

Ask for the leftover paint when you drop your stuff off. They have to throw it away anyway (at least in SoCali), so they'll just give it to you instead. Makes touch-ups cake.

Thumbs up

I thought about painting mine, but then I realized that I drive in the snow and salt often, and ski just as often, and the skirts would just get banged up and chipped to death. Does anyone have a problem with this? Because I think the RS looks really great with painted skirts.
