Question Do we REALLY need a new thread for every youtube video clip?

Just askin'. Seems a bit superfluous. Just post a link to the whole site and let's call it a day.

We need something other than a stupid Youtube containment thread.

You can group 'em if you want. Dash cam clips, people hurting themselves a la America's Funniest Home Videos, vlogs, whatever. Let the groupings happen organically.

But it's stupid to have one big containment thread.

If your crappy Youtube clip isn't worthy of a new thread, and isn't relevant to anything else, if it's just a dog failing to catch a frisbee in slow motion... then suck it up and maybe don't post it.

What if they organically go into the same thread?

Have you been to PP? I consider it the Sarlacc pit for threads. You can go in after it, but a tentacle of stupid is probably going to try to pull you down.
