i agree with shik, but my buddy who works at subaru parts , could not find part numbers neither for the motor or pistons

i work at a Subaru dealer, most of the engine parts have an ETA of April and thats probably why the retail site isn't updated yet.


2toxic your buddy must not be too good at navigating the Subaru EPC, it's super easy to find the RA parts

carnz, great job, i believe the same thing , it wont be till april, but they do post the long block for $7842

im in the process to tear down my motor and was wanting to go new shortblock , but if the ra short block pistons are stronger , i think am going to hold off a little longer and wit till april

i do believe this 10103AD020 sti r/a shortblock will be a big seller for the subaru performance market, a stronger shortblock is a big plus in the performance market, i think it will sell fast, would like to see pictures of the new design of the pistons

I was going to place an order for one when I overhauled my swapped coupe, but i didn't feel like waiting for the parts to arrive in warehouses so i just used another block I had. I still may order one in a few months, but we'll see
