Hey Alex

Everyone is here I see

Stock Gearbox? Really?

That's just amazing

I assumed he had one of the KAPS dogboxes, rally leftovers

BTW. Did Lance ever had you guys play with the sequential dogbox that KAPS makes?

I saw some rally footage from Poland and it looks awesome

Anyone know what rear fenders those are? They seem to be just "bolted" on.

The rest was showboating/marketing/promotion... which isn't bad in and of itself... but just call it that. Not practice for a well recognized sport, when it clearly isn't to those that actually do know what that sport is.

It's a great PR peice. But practice it isn't.

In the quick interview that someone linked, Ken says " Gymkhana-like" so you both are right ? ahhh who cares...fight on !!!!

amazing skills nonetheless

These are DOG boxes, VTcar was using 5 speed in a 6 speed case
For the diff controller they use Gems unit that is fully programmable and it does disconnect + few other things

Just as a confirmation: This car has the stock 6speed.

Also to clear up some rumors, this car is EcuTek race fuel tuned. (not Motec)

Good driving but not technical enough to consider as "gymkhana".

Here's a video of a true gymkhana:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RHgjFPhhzY8

This is good skill here where you need to remember the course and it has rules just like auto-x. I really enjoy this video more then Ken as it's more technical.

Lifted from the CalClub Solo fourms:

If you guys remember, Ken Block PAXed 29 out of 75 at the last TeamBlew Subaru of America event.

Results:
http://ploney.shackspace.com/downloa...ss-results.pdf

AS:
1T 212 Jeff Mayes Subaru 64.242
2T 949 Ron Flaherty 06 STI 64.339
3T 271 Adrian Barnes 04 Subaru Wrx Sti 64.369
4 666 Ken Block 08 WRX STI 64.868

DS:
1T 965 Tom Denham WRX 64.124

HS:
1T 61 James Wilson 98 Subaru Impreza L 63.658

For those that don't know, HS (H-Stock) is the class in SCCA Auto-x where the last stock class full mostly of Mini (Non-S), Celica, Mazda Protege, etc.... underpowered cars. James' "L" is just that.... stock, 110ish HP L.
