Cool Lets see how you mounted your AP.

Lets See where you mounted your AP. I wish the AP had a right angle plug to the AP...I think it would make for a lot Cleaner install.. Anyways here's mine on my 05 STi on the A-Piller

I need to mount mine somewhere to keep an eye on coolant temps at the trackcross and autocross, since I'm feeling too lazy to install a real solid state coolant temp gauge.

Does the ALDL plug for the AP get in the way of your legs/feet at all? Got any pictures of what it looks like down there? I'm assuming it'd be similar to the '05 WRX wagon location, but really don't know as I'm still kind of green when it comes to a lot of Subaru differences.

Thanks
-Brian

Take your setup, now imagine the exact same thing in a GR interior.

The OBD plug from the AP is 90 degrees so it sits pretty flush. Cobb made that change recently *last 2-3 years.. The plug I was talking about is the connection 'to' the AP.. a 90 Degree plug there would help...ALOT.. and the OBD connection is in the same place as your Wagon.

*I will get you a pic when I get a chance.

Cool, yeah I figured you meant 90 degree at the cord to AP connection. I did not know they changed the cord to OBD plug to a 90 degree for the newest versions.

Do you know if you can use the newer 90 degree cord with the old AP units?

My car came with what I understand to be a pretty early AP2, works fine, just would love to be able to have it mounted somewhere so I could view hands free.
