Question Anybody with 215 40 17 Wheels with a +50 offsett, I need to talk to you.

I am thinking about taking part in the group buy on Team Dynamics 17X7 +50 offset wheels with 215 40 17 tires. I currently have 17X7 +47 offset wheels with 215 45 17 and am getting a little rub around tight corners. Is anyone out there running 215 40 17 tires on 17X7 +50 offset wheels with lowered suspension? Are you experiencing any rub damage?

Thanks
Brad

I have ASA JS1 17x7, offset +51. Tires are 205/45-17. I was offered 215/45 and would have worked just fine! I just didn't have more money to spend at the time! Anyway, I have no problems at all with this setup. I also have the H&R springs with the KYB shocks!! No problem at all, its tucked in nicely! 50 offset would be also great.

I would go with a wheel made for Subaru's! I have Speedline Supertourismo's 17x7 with 215/45 and my car is dropped 1-1/4" and it never rubs. The wheels are +55 offset(same as stock)!!! I wouldn't go any lower than a +52 or +53 offset! Talk to Mike at SPD tuning.

I'm runnning with 17*7 +50mm offset Team Dynamics MotorSports. I've ran with both 215/40 and 45 series 17's with little rub. Now on the 40's it rubs only under hard cornering. 45's actually tuck into the rear fenderwell. Now I did roll my rear fenderwells, no real big deal actually. After rolling them there is no rub what-so-ever!! All this is riding on H&R springs w/adjustable KONI struts.

If they're the wheel you're looking for just go for it. I've had mine for 2 years with no side affects. It may be an issue for some, but some is just talk like everything out there; offset issue that is.

CTGT,
How much did you fork out for the Superturismos? I love that wheel. I love the +55 offset too. Also what do you meen Speedline Superturismos? I thought they were made by O.Z. Racing??

Where can I get a good price on these? The Team Dynamics set with tires mounted and shipped is $1050 for a set of 17X7s. Its going to be hard coming close to that price but if it is only going to be a few hundred more I will wait.

Let me know. Wow +55 offset.

Thanks
Brad

I meant the O.Z. Racing Superturismos. You know the ones with the 16 or so spokes.

Anybody know where I can get a set of those?

Thanks
Brad
