I talked to the folks at TurboXS about it and Phil told me they are exactly the same because the base map is so rich, that with the extra boost (less pressure loss) from the TMIC, you're still running relatively rich. -Bolster

A little clarification is needed.

The TMI has less pressure drop so the air charge is denser and therefore if you wanted to run the same AFR you would have to add more fuel. Since the TMI adds a significant amount of efficiency to the system we didn't want it run richer but instead leaner, thus the same voltage pull down in the fuel table.

While they are the same programs the result is very different. Not only is MAF voltage different because the car is breathing better but so is the AFR.

It just happened that the STG4 program gives the power we wanted to get out of adding the TMI. That doesn't mean there isn't significantly more to be had by further tuning

So don't call us as they are the same but different.

Thanks,
Phil
