It's not all exhaust but the way you drive as well. If you ask for attention you'll get it. My exhaust is at 120db (near 10 months, daily driven vehicle) and I have not yet been pulled over for noise level.

Be respectful to cops, they'll be respectful to you

It really depends on the cop. If you irritate them, they'll definitely peg it on you. But, if you're respectful, they will probably let it slide.

Just to be safe, I try and keep it in neutral and quiet when I can because it's not worth it. Only been a couple months for me, but no extra attention. Been pulled over twice with it, and they didn't mention it.

You should be fine, I roll 3" out to a 3" cat as a muffler. Tip is pointed down so that helps a bit. All in a full built stage rally car that's DD. As said before it will all depend on the cop and how you are driving.

it also depends where you are moving to (originally from Carbondale area)

some cities are areas are harsh on this...Huntington Beach, Burbank, Culver City, etc...HB is very very bad!

then again i have a catted TXS stealth with a straight pipe...it's damn near harley loud, but i keep it cool and save the noise for the canyons

i get puckered up when i drive beside a cop, but i'm not an asshat and i save the dumb stuff for the track days

just a heads up, not sure if you plan on registering it over here when you move but if you do, you might have trouble with that exhaust passing smog visual if you have anything done besides the 3" catback.

And like everyone says, just be smart bout it when you're driving around the city and you won't really get hassled for it unless you get pulled over doing something else unless the cop is asshat and needs to fill his quota.

I think the AEM is CARB legal. The other stuff might not pass visual. Sweet ride though!
