I had a 2013 with a leak @~ 70k. I pulled the rack and replaced the seals. I'm not sure what I did wrong but the steering assist is jacked up now. It wonders off center and have varying amounts of assist as the wheel is turned. I'm back to looking at replacing the whole rack.

did you make sure you tied the steering wheel down with whatever you had ie seatbelts, tension straps etc before tearing down the rack?

2011 wrx with 115K on it... leaking at the pinion valve. I'm playing "make a wish" with Lucas stop leak now... not particularly hopeful of success.

The wifes RnP is going up on her 09 WRX with 80k miles. Turning lock to lock, it binds up and starts to bounce. Not sure if I should replace the rack or get new lines and pump as well.
