Default Lightest Wheels Made by STI?

I wanted to see if there's any Guru's here who know the what the lightest 18" wheels made by STI are?

I've viewed the master wheel thread below, but it seems to be missing alot of weights by special models made such as the S20* series cars, Spec-C's, ect.

We know the 2004 STI or 22B had the lightest 17" wheels, but with 18" being the new standard, I thought it'd be nice to know. From my research, I've seen comments on IWSTI about the S204 wheels being around 16lbs which seems to be the lightest 18x8.5" STI wheel.

I don't know the answer to your question but I do know that there is no 18" wheel sold by Subaru (or any OEM manufacturer) that sells a model with 16 lb 18" wheels. That is not a realistic weight. 16 lbs would be superlight for a 17" wheel.

Agreed, I couldn't believe that number too when I read it at IWSTI. Lightest subaru 17" is the BBS 5x100 wrx option wheels 17x7, think they were 15.8lbs (had a new set and sold them).

Well it bothered me so much now I have brand new s204 wheels being shipped from japan, so i'll weigh them when they arrive lol

Please do weigh them and post the results with pics of the scale. I'm sure those S204 wheels were pricey.

I remember people suggesting the OE BBS wheels on the GD models were 17 lbs but when I weighed them from my 07 STi they were 19 lbs. That was 17x8 wheel with a 50something offset. Most people wrongly estimate weight in the direction they wish it were

Definitely will man! I really wish we can have a collaborative effort to update the Subaru master wheel weight thread as it's missing way too many wheels.

yea they costed way too much, I justified the purchase by thinking I can sell my volks and get some money back.

Forgeline makes some carbon fiber wheels. Available in 19" similar to the OEM STI wheels.

I think the OP was interested in wheels available on the OEM models. And you nuts to drive a carbon fiber wheel on the street.
