Well technically the fact that it is different from the other 3rd gens makes it "exceptional" in the basic sense. I love my 08. Its the red headed step child.

Doesn't have the fat wide-body ass on it
I almost bought a silver 08 hatch the week before i found the 11 sedan i drive now, they definitely look sleek and would make a great sleeper, especially with a fmic and scoopless hood.

I like the new body but I also like that my wrx doesn't look like an STi. I like my lil scoop. I wouldn't want to take the little wrexiness I have and frivolously make it look more tame. I even love my little chrome bar.

Can't wait till I get my wing though.

OT though, tailed a silver 09/10 wrx with front mounted rally fogs and floppy flappies.

The scoops are exactly the same....

I agree though I like my 09 and the slimness of it.

If it was a red Legacy with a roof rack, you saw Rookie J. bjcarter2's car is a Forester.

Yeah there's only been one scoop for the last five/six years.

This is a misunderstanding. I never implied there were more scoops. I'm saying I like my scoop. I wouldn't wanna get a scoopless hood to be more sleeper. Thus "I like my lil scoop", not alluding to a larger one.

It's only exceptional now because everything else before and AFTER it is awesome.

Anyways, I honestly forgot about your 2008. I only ever thing of kayetealynn's, so I was just taking a jab at her. Any of these cars are what you make them. I would love to make a sleeper pre-2011 WRX. Would be funnier to have an STI hatch and swap out its spoiler for a 2.5i spoiler and go scoopless, but still rock Brembos and 18" wheels. Maybe even take off the side mirror markers!

A chick drives that STi, I saw her on the glenn once. I actually kind of like that hood protector, even if it theoretically diverts air from the intercooler. I'd probably rock it in the winter time, and I think it would look better with my black lights and grill.

Edit: Oh weird, I thought I remembered it being a '12.

Yeah Taco Bell sponsors it. Everyone in the drive thru votes for their favorite car, and the winner get free tacos.
