Default 2.5RS Suspension on 98 Forester

Just wanted to get confirmation on this. Using stock 2.5rs suspension. I am pretty sure I've seen somebody already do this. Are the upper mounts the same? Everything just swap directly over? Also, will the Impreza rear aftermarket swapbars fit as well? Thanks!

Steve

It fits. I put in 2000 Impreza RS springs and struts into my 98 forester. I also have the stock RS sway bar as well.

Looks sharp sitting on the RS suspension Naboo. I thought the RS sway bar was the same as the Foresters'. I put a '02 WRX sedan (20mm) sway bar on mine.

Thanks The sway bar that came with mine was 13mm I think, the RS is 18mm I believe. Maybe they put a bigger bar in after 98.

My RSB stocker was 13 or 14mm I forget in my '01. The front is 19mm. I believe they changed that with the SG model (02-on). I'd measure that RS bar and see what you really got under there. The WRX wagon had a 17mm rear and the WRX sedan had a 20mm rear. I don't see Subaru putting a larger sway bar on the RS than the WRX wagon.

hmm, maybe the bar isn't a stock RS bar. It's definately bigger then my stock one as I compared them when they were changed.
