FS: JDM v2 STI 5 speed and diff
Like the title says I am selling my STI v2 5 speed transmission. It has 4.11 gears. The downfall to this tranny is, it does NOT have 3rd gear. I broke 3rd gear in it, so it would need to be rebuilt. I also have the matching rear diff for it, and it has a STI closed lsd. I paid $2700 for the trans and diff when I bought it. I would like to get $900 plus shipping for the tranny and rear diff. I would prefer to sell locally (northern nevada/norcal), but will ship at buyer's expense.
I will split them up if I get buyers for both. Pm me with any questions. Thanks! -Andy

it depends on how hard your drive. a guy at the shop i bought it from had the same tranny on a 400whp and torque set up and was fine. he drove fairly conservative. I on the other hand didnt drive as easy as him. I had 300whp in my car and broke it, so if you shift easy you should be just fine.

A stock tranny can hold that. Just depends on how you drive. If you drive like an idiot slamming gears all day then you will blow up straight cut ppg's eventually.
Extra strength trannies are just extra insurance for when you do want to "use" your car. |
