Default How small is the Elise interior?

In comparison to, say, a Miata or Z3?

If you look closely, you can spot the interior. But it's very tiny.

It has quite a bit of head room (the seats are really low to the ground), but there isn't very much side space. You sit about 3 inches to the passenger.

No, a friend is looking into one and he's about my height.

I still want an S2K.

I'm thinking about leg room, most specifically. I'm 6'5" and fit fine into a Miata, but not a Z3. The S2000 is huge compared to those two.

I'm 6'4 and I had issues with the last Miata I drove.

I felt like Harry and the Henderson's pushing up the cloth top.

I'm really hoping the Elise is a 2-seater I don't feel cramped in.

All of the tall Elise owners out there say that they can fit in one. 6'5" should be fine.

I've only been in an Elise once. I'm 5'6" and had to move the seat forward about 8 inches. Personally, I think tall people can fit in quite comfortably. Getting in and out of an Elise, on the other hand, is more interesting....

If theres a local exotic cars dealership, they'll probably have one in stock to check out.

It is pretty small, but it feels like a race car. I am 6'3" and fit pretty well. It may be cramped if you are heavy though,

you'd definitely be able to get in it with the top off...Jeremy Clarkson tried forever to get into the vauxhall (same car basically) with the top on it and finally had to take the top off to get in lol

Is the Lotus dealer in Washington or Pittsburgh? Elsewhere?

I think the interior would be REALLY tight. Have you ever seen an Elise in person? It is one tiny car!

I took this picture last week at the Pittsburgh International Auto Show. Look how small the car looks compared to the people standing around it. The roof didn't even reach my waist.

Unfortunately, the Elise was locked and the windows were tinted, so I didn't get a close look at the interior.
