Will an Ecutek and EBC/MBC work?
Hey guys,
I recently swapped an Ecutek ecu for my stock ecu. The Ecu was program for the same mods as me (TB Exhaust). However the previous owner said his max boost was 17.5 psi. On my setup I am maxing at 15 psi. I have a BOV and HKS DP (non bellmouth) so I'm assuming the other boost is losts because of my flat plate downpipe setup. So.....just wondering if it is safe to run an EBC, or MBC to accomodate for the loss of boost? The ecu is programmed to handle 17.5 psi, so would it be ok? Also, the ecutek has two switcheable maps programed in it. A the second map is a less agressive one...max 7psi of boost. Will an EBC/MBC affect this map aswell? Ryan
