The hose fittings should be tight so you do not have leaks. Just take a wrench and give them a tightening if need be. Get them hand tight in the position you want them.

NOTE: All BCS's are now being shipped with a 90 degree hose fitting on port 3 so there should be no more issues with the middle port getting close to the strut tower on the older wrx's.

Default Vaccum tubing size and type?

Hey guys, is 5/32 vacuum tubing the correct size?

I also saw 'hard' (more rigid) vacuum tubing at the store, as opposed to the normal tubing material.

Yeah the 5/32 is the correct size for the tubing. I would probably just use the standard tubing since i'm sure its more flexable.

No, things are not going great...

I ignored everyone's advice to pick one up and got pro-tuned without one and now dearly regret it.

My BCS from you guys works flawless. I will probably be needing a new mounting bracket here soon if my plans go through and I can get into another Subaru

Have one of these sitting in my room, should be installed & tuned within a week or so. I'll update once that happens but I'm sure it will be positive just like every other GrimmSpeed product.

Yeah you will need a retune, If you can find someone who can do open source tuning locally for you it should take more then 30 minutes to fix on a few highway pulls.

I love my 3port. Matt from 555 was the one that recommended it. He also tuned my car and it came out great!

+1 grimmspeed for plug and play quality!

Does anyone have any tips on how to re-tune my map using the Grimmspeed 3-Port BCS? I know the website says to "reduce WGDC by 30% and to go from there", but I'm not sure of "where to go" after doing that.

I have a question regarding the EBCS, I picked one up for my VF48 and got a e-tune from ClarkTuning. I installed it as per the website on the 06-07 WRX and boost is slow (19.72psi @3300 rpm on the stock BC/ 20psi @ 4700rpm on the grimmspeed). I can remove, put the stock on back on, reflash back to my old map and have quick spool again. Any ideas?

Did you get the tune specifically for our boost solenoid or is it for the stock one?
