Ill keep this all in mind this winter back when i was useing the 50 weight i sat through the first winter alot longer than a minute not much but still it was normally taking me upwards of four minutes to drive 350 feet to the freeway.

I dont want to burn a new motor the oil pickups not a problem any more.

I guess I'm one of the few people who has self control when driving my STI ( 3rd one without issues).

Can't people just keep rpm below 3k and load below 0psi or just I'm vacuum when warming up the car? I see alot of people just WOT right after 30 secs of startup.

Why are you using 50 weight during the winter?

I'm so glad I installed the killer b pickup tube just for piece of mind .After hearing about the failures and worrying what if it happens ,I just replaced replaced it !

Im not it was one winter during the first oil change motor was broken in before i picked the car up, the shop i had work on the motor doesnt like thin oil.

I expressed myself to the owner at least once the temps here where hovering around 25-35, i just baby drove the car for about 10 weeks that winter till the oil change.
