Because they are the size of your hubs (inthe wheels) with the current spacers.
Without the hubcentric spacers, your hubcentric spacers in the wheels, will touch nothing, therefor, center nothing. |

It looks like the price is for a pair, so you would need two sets. The bolt on like a set of wheels using the orginal studs and some special short nuts. Then you use their new studs with your lugs and the wheels.
They do look good |

To use the term "hella flush" you can't just run spacers FYI
Thats why the HellaFlush motto is "Offset is everything" not "Spacers are everything" Just saying |

I thought most people used spacers as a low cost alternative to a high dollar set of wheels.
Dont some classes of racing require factory original wheels? |

in my case it wasn't that specifically, once you factor in the price of the spacers + the cost of the wheels it isn't much cheaper (hell it might be a dollar or two more). i wanted to run something other than rota & didn't want to drop track wheel $$$$ on a set of volk, work, or advan track wheels. seeing as how this car is for damn sure never gonna see a track now.

I am just saying if you are going to throw out the words HellaFlush just keep in mind that the phrase "offset is everything" follows hellaflush Just look at the logo on the site... fatlace.com/hellaflush Or any of their stickers... Maybe its just that now the term hellaflush is specific even though your wheels are technically hella flush to your fender Whatever man! |

perhaps fatlace would cut me some slack seeing as how my koi car is 100x more badass than the koi wall in their store. or perhaps we're just splitting hairs.

hellaflush is more like hella gay and unusable... dave is building a show car, not some hippari POS ricemobile ;P
http://www.7tune.com/oni-kyan-shakotan-and-hippari-tire/ check it out dave, you too can be ULTRA homo and HERRA FRUSH too! ;P offset isn't everything, that's just dumb verbage to a dumb trend. Spacers = offset, period... +48 with 25mm spaces is now +23, spacers or not i mean from my perspective, dave's done the right thing - rather than dropping an asston of money on custom wheels not meant to fit the car at all, he's bought spacers, put a custom coat of one off color on his wheels, and when he's ready to go to the track and show off his mad doritoifting skillz he can remove the spacers and be track ready... Whatevah =\ - car looks outstanding dave, we don't need no gay ass web site to show us how to set a trend.... come up with your own term... hellacoolerpaintthanyourpos.com eff the h8raide... |

Do the JDM guys also think that this is hella flush
I my world Hella Flush can only be obtained by 8.5-9.5 inch wheels (for our cars) with a normal offset and normal tires. Or you can use spacers. So Dave, if it makes you feel any better, your flush in my book. |

That's what my 67 beetle looked like in the back. But on the swingaxle tranny in the older VWs, there is nothing you can do about it. This is about how low my 67 was But mine was WAAAAAAAAAAAYYY better looking. More like this Actually that is very close to mine, it was 2 tone like that, but instead of blue and white, it was seafoam green and white, with a wood slat roof rack and decklid standoffs, as well as Porshe 2 liter allow wheels. But I didnt have the ragtop like that unfortunately. Lets put it this way, it was so low that I had to run temporary tires on my front wheels, and if there was a soda can in the road laying on its side, I would catch and drag it. |
