On order is a pitch stop mount, shifter bushings and cobb lowering springs. I'm ordering the parts that made the biggest difference in driving feel on the FXT (except for spacers). Power mods will follow. |

you put spacers on a stock car. Guess you just think the subaru engineers got it wrong. But by all means, as long as you like how it looks. Guess herrafrush is next.

Only thing that worries me is premature damage to the bearings but in the looks department, these look perfect! |

I feel like the damage is completely over exxagerated. It seems like everyone says there is premature damage to the bearings, but the people who actually do them report very minor or no change in the lifespan of the bearings.
I agree, this makes the car look considerably better. It also makes it look a little lower. |

I tried ASU....
I keep trying. But image over substance rules the day. It is better to spend less, and 'improve' your looks, than to spend more and do it right and keep the car reliable and performing as designed. I lost hope once the herrafrush crowd moved in. Place has not been the same since. |

When I look at the new wrx's (well the 11 models) it makes me want to trade in my 08! These look very sharp!

Right, because subaru engineers put the 'widebody' onto the wrx strictly because of performance... had nothing to do with looks... |

The fact that they put wider tires, and stiffer bushings on means that they probably WERE thinking about performance. Plus they can produce only one bodystyle hatch, versus two. So they were also thinking price. Looks are just a bonus. Do not fool yourself. You really think Subaru put LOOKS before function??? Where have you been for the past 12 years.

Subaru knows what they are doing... the bearings are better now than in 2004. There are plenty of people driving around here with low offsets and no ill effect on the bearings. Now the op should just know that planning on replacing the hubs at 60k miles should be a preventative maintanence
Sorry for the spelling, phone web replies suck. |

made it looks a bit better for sure. Subaru is still failing on fitting wheels. Most Car companies are making wheels with widths and offsets that better fill out the fenders. They didn't have to do 25mm's more from the factory, but something like 10-15mm's over what it is now would improve the look.
this wheel bearing talk makes me laugh |
