Default Where can I buy a WRX wire harness for towing my trailer?

Hi,

I am installing a trailer hitch so that I can tow my waverunner this summer. I need to know where I can get the wire harness that splices into my cars brakelights / turnsignals and the other end plugs into the trailer.

Please let me know where you guys purchased this harness.

Thanks guys.
-Brian

Any trailer place can get you one. U-haul can also install a custom-universal harness

I would get the subie harness from subaruparts. Our lights are not meant to be tapped directly. The wagon has dedicated wires for the trailer lights and the price is the same as other aftermarket alternatives like modulite which hook to the battery directly. The harness from SOA includes instructions that just say impreza but don't know if the sedans are set for them or not.

Explanation from modulite:
In many cases the tail, turn and stop light circuits of today's vehicles are connected with light gauge wire, designed only to carry enough current to supply the lights the vehicle is equipped with. Additionally, some vehicles are equipped with sensitive electronic devices, such as "lamp-out" sensors, which are designed to monitor the vehicle's electrical system and warn the driver of problems with that system.

Now if draw-tite would just get my hitch finished, been on national back order for two months and I think they are just starting production next week
