Default Boost Creep LTD., Longmont CO

I was dealing with a boost oscilation problem for two or three years now which was becoming progressively worse. I checked every system that within my power and experience to check with no joy over this period. The car also passed through the hands of a few mechanics to troubleshoot with no resolution. Enter Harvey at Boost Creep.

First impressions, Nice guy with a clean organized shop. He strapped it on the Dyno and got to work. Harvey then proceeded to narrow it down, smoke machine, checking fuel pressure, insert a manual boost controller to eliminate another system and so on. I'm beginning to think that the problem is undiagnosable and I'll have to live my life in a viscious cycle of overboost and boost cut, slowly driving me insane until eventually a buy a Prius and spend the rest of my life drooling like Jack Nicholson in One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest.

A few wrench turns later the wastegate actuator is off and were testing it against one he has lying about the shop. Mine takes some juice to move and the action is rough. The other is like butter. Switch them out and a few pulls later life is good again. All through the process Harvey explained what he was doing and answered all questions I had about anything, and there where a lot.

My parting opinion. Harvey is personable, technically and tactically proficient, methodical, patient and is willing to go the extra mile for his customers. All in all it was a fantastic experience and I learned a hell of a lot about my car and a good bit about tuning. Three thumbs up, thanks Harv.

I am thinking about going there as well. I know this was a long time ago but do you have any idea of the prices? Just trying to get a range.

Best bet would be to call them and get a quote.
