Default runs rough when wet

2007 2.5i wagon. I have this issue only when the car sits outside in the rain for a couple days without being started. usually when I leave the car at the outdoor airport parking lots due to my business travel. I come back to the car after it sitting for 3 days (it rained one of those days) - fire it up and it idles ROUGH, RPMS drop down, shakes like it wants to stall and strange sounding exhaust. i can give it a little gas, sounds normal and then RPMS drop down, idles rough and sounds horrible. Check Engine Light will flash a couple times - then about 5 minutes runs fine, CEL goes off.

Last time it occurred, P0303 misfire was found, but dealer didn't find any problems. Suggestions? From what i read, seems it could be
1) coil pack and spark plugs
2) harness behind battery might be getting wet
3) Mass air flow (MAF)

Before Hurricane Sandy comes tomorrow, I would like to see if i can figure it out.

Thanks,

It might be moisture building up, when I did my friends timing belt on his legacy it had a lot of moisture buildup from not being ran for a while I'm assuming, after about ten minutes of idling most of the moisture was gone from the tail pipe and clear exhaust, the car was running a little rough at first but now is running fine

UPDATE well, lucky for me - my office was closed due to Sandy. About 11 am, i ran out to fire her up and the same problem occurred... Drove about 2 miles, with noise, lack of power, flashing CEL and then it stopped and car drove OK. I live about 5 minutes from dealership. Took her in, P0303 code -- they replaced the coil pack and wires. However, wasn't covered under warranty. Lets see if she fires up later tonight or tomorrow morning..

Old plug wires can dry up, and not seal allowing moisture into the coil pack connections and the spark plug wells, both bad places to have moisture.
