Weather Tech as everyone else has said. I had them in my previous vehicle and I think i washed them off twice in a year of usage and they still looked new.

Definitely Weathertech. Only little issue I have with mine is that the front passenger side mat is a little too short for my 2014 STI. What I mean is it doesn't quite stand up going towards the bottom of the dash. I just kept my original floor mat in there and placed the Weathertech liner over it.

These pictures are what they show on their respective websites when you enter your make and model. They don't look like a generic stock photo, but actually representative of what you get.

I haven’t seen the weathertechs in person but I can confirm the Husky mats go all the way up the dead pedal. I went with them for that reason alone. They do get slippery in the winter if they’re cold and you have some snow on your shoes.
If I were to do it again I’d get the 3D Maxpider mats.

I just bought the 3D Maxpider mats. They fit good, don’t move around, and seem to grip very well. Have not had them in very cold yet so I’m hoping they are still grippy when them temp drops. They do not go all the way up the dead petal. It cuts up at an angle about halfway up.

Looks like the Husky Liners cover the gas cap lever whereas the Weather Teach goes around it. Not sure how hard it would be to cut through the material to make a cutout/opening for it but it's something to consider.

I just bent my Husky mats slightly. It still covers the gas cap lever but it's easy enough to move out of the way. I prefer the lever being covered since it doesn't allow dirt or gravel to get in there as it's a pain to clean.

Thanks for the replies. My main concern is preventing as much salt as possible from getting into the permanent carpet again. It's all built up on the transmission tunnel in the driver footwell from the OEM floor mats not covering enough.

Husky mats don’t really cover up there(I don’t think any mats do). What I did was get some transparent floor runner mats from Home Depot, applied Velcro to the back of them and lined all the areas that aren’t covered by my mats. I’ve noticed that people tend to kick the transmission tunnel as they get out of the passenger seat so this saves them getting those carpets dirty.

findway.ca is where I ordered mine here in Canada. Similar protection to husky and weather tech, but much cheaper.
100$ Canadian for front and back.
Also like that they are not plastic, looks much better than full rubber matts. Super easy to clean as well.

I have weathertechs in my girlfriends car and she still manages to get salt all over the place
I got a roll of adhesive carpet protector from local hardware shop. I cover under the matts all the way up to the plastic trims. Only way to guarantee no salt will get anywhere.

I like Husky Liners because the coverage area is great. I have a front and rear set I bought for my 00 RS 10 years ago that are now in my 05 9-2x Aero. Unfortunately they have stopped making the rears for the 98-07 Impreza/WRX/9-2x. You can still buy the fronts though.

Default Floor mats

I bought the BC Floor mats. They have been great so far in the Pennsylvania winter. Real nice look to them and cheaper than the most high end floor mats on the market

ive had the new huskys, weathertechs and now the maxpiders. the maxpiders are dramatically better quality material. much thicker, heavier, and more rubbery.

You could do a layer of thin, clear plastic (like the dealerships do) as a base layer strictly to protect the carpets in the area that the mats don't offer coverage, then your choice of winter/rubber mats on top. Just a thought...

I ended up installing Husky liners and overall I like them. The material is very slippery when new, but the rubber covers EVERYTHING in the footwell, which is excellent. I think as they get used it will be less slippery, I might even run a wheel brush over the material to scuff it up a bit when I clean things out in spring.

The OEM and Weathertech mats effectively had the same coverage as neither of them would extend underneath the brake/gas pedals. The Husky does all of that and completely covers the dead-foot.

Yeah, the Huskies do a great job of covering everything and holding lots of mess. The Weathertech mats are slighlty more mat-y than liner-y by comparison.

The Huskies get more up behind the pedals, which is nice. They also cover the fuel door release, which isn't strictly convenient, but by being willing to add this inconvenience they get better coverage.

Either brand is a great product. It's so nice to get in the car, shoes covered in mud and/or snow and not have to worry about cleaning it out of carpet later.

100% Weathertechs all the way. Then I would say huskyliners are next.

I have WeatherTechs mats on my cars. The digital fit style. They work great collecting dirt and spills. We just bought an Impreza and we have been researching for a cheaper version of floor mats to be used int he snow. Thank your for the information on Husky vs WeatherTech

WeatherTech. I have the rubber Subaru "option" ones and yeah they're better than ruining your carpet mats, but in the winter, slush will melt and go to the corners of the floor and make it so you have to almost shampoo them regularly.

My Forester came with the OEM rubber mats and for the most part I was happy with them but they did fall short on coverage. I just got a new Ridgeline and knew i wanted something better than the factory offering. I don't have any experience with the WeatherTech or Husky liners but after reading a lot of reviews on all three I decided to go with the Maxliner brand and am very happy. The main reason for going this rout was that they were ~$50 cheaper for the set and from what I can tell just as good as either of the two more popular options.
