19-20 Sti engine into 15-18 Sti shell

Our 2015 sti just spun a rod and we found replacement engine for a fair price. I know it's a direct swap but will there be any check engine lights? I understand the 19-20 has different pistons and are tuned differently. Would the compression causing any issues for the ecu ? I don't want to rebuild I just want to swap and go.

The ECU has no idea what compression a motor has.
It looks for detonation

Should I should be good to go? The rebuild I was quoted is almost the same price as the engine replacement with 7k miles.
