Thanks! Looking good here. I love how you were able to get the reflection on the Porsche shot, but what I really like is how you went wider with the GTR shot. Try going wider like that on more of your panning shots. It'll definitely add a good variety so they all won't look the same The Lotus shot is pretty good too, but I'm not totally sold on that much of a tilt.

Thanks to you too! I don't normally like cars on grass but since it's a Forester, it definitely makes a lot more sense. I love that first photo with the clouds, but I think you could still use a little more exposure. My guess is that your camera is metering for the bright sky, but in turn that's making the exposure on the Forester a little darker. If you can balance those out (probably have to shoot manual and do a little in post), then you'll have a pretty spectacular image.

The second Forester photo in the trees is a good exposure, but this time the sky is just a blank grey and rather uninteresting. This time, you might have to do the opposite as the one above it to get a better exposure on the sky, rather than on the Forester.

As far as the fence shot, honestly the one thing that stands out to me is that big flag in the middle of everything. If you were able to take a few steps to your left so that the flag either wasn't in the photo at all or at least a little less prominent, it'd work a lot better for your overall composition.

Thanks! I'm glad my critiques are getting shorter. Did a random shoot of my sister in laws new car.

Ill see if I can do some processing on the first picture to brighten up the car a little more.

Agreed the sky is really bland and Im never really a fan of that.

There wasnt much room to move.
It was either in the front or behind a bunch of people lol
But I agree it would be better without the flag.

You can use a Circular Polarizer filter to reduce glare and also can underexpose the image just a tad and work with it a bit in photoshop/lightroom when you edit.

Both of those were taken with a CP filter, i probably should have taken mulitple exposures and layered them right? I have zero post processing skills so that kinda sucks to do haha

Yeah pretty much. Underexposing the shot a bit or making multiple exposures is your only way around blown out areas like that if you are already using a CP filter. The other option is to shoot at a different time of day or in solid shade. The city skyline shot would be killer if you had exposed for it and then did the same for the car and combined. Badass Subie btw

It is a technique I am still working on as I don't have a lot of experience with it. Not afraid to try some new things and admit when it isn't my forte.

I got to play with another R8 today. This time it is a spider, 6 speed and twin turbo'ed.

Got out to shoot my car and a friends bugeye recently, any suggestions on these shots?

I would like criticism/feedback/insight please. I posted in the DSLR thread in members gallery asking but nobody offered any advice, I figured I'd try our resident pro.

First car shot with DSLR, also pretty new to photography and such. No circular polarizer was used because I don't have one.

I use a Nikon D5000
Settings: 1/25 ƒ/3.5 ISO 200 18 mm

I use photoshop for post processing through Camera RAW.
