Is it pretty much a certainty that a GD STi will require fender work using a 17x9 with 255/40r17 tires? I really want this wheel for autocross but am a bit nervous about fitment.

I have a 2005 WRX with STi suspension all the way around. I am running the 17x9 with a 245 tire and I have rolled fenders on each corner. I occasionally rub the rear but never the front. I would believe you need to roll the fenders.

Anyone have tips on how to mod the center cap to use the STI stickers offered on the fastwrx site?

https://www.fastwrx.com/collections/...mach-v-awesome

As mentioned, the mach V logo is raised and will make the STI sticker a little lumpy, just want to see how others might be going about this.

Photo request: white on gold. What I'd like to see are DIRTY gold wheels unwashed. I'm stuck between gold and black.. thanks!

First aftermarket wheel I ever bought back in 2013 on my FRS. Still one of my favorite wheels of all time.

Thanks but do you have a "dirty" pic. I'm not sure how gold looks with all the brake dust or regular daily driving dirt. I wash the car about every other month...

Went to BAM 2018 Annual Subaru Meet in SJ. In the entire parking lot, I only saw 3 white subies in gold. Still undecided between the gloss black (gunmetal) and gold tho

Anyone have an ISM 15+ with silver Mach-V's? Really dig these wheels, the gunmetal is a little too dark for my taste.

Hey Dan,

Looking for new lightweight wheels for my 11 STI and the Wicked Awesome may fit the bill.

So, from going through the thread, it seems that on the GR wide-body, stock suspension does not require fender work, but anything lower than stock will need fender rolling?

Edit: on 265/35/18 tires

You probably want to check out my thread on wheel/tire fitment for the GR/GV chassis, but the short answer is to fit 265/35R18 on that, you should plan to roll the rear fenders.

Thanks Dan, seems like 255/35/18 is a safer bet for no rolling.
