Haha nice , I'm pretty sure there are a lot of 09+ with vf52 on E85 making near 400whp and easy 400wtq on E85... Is it safe pushing the turbo that far no... But it's a limitations trial, there are vf52 Making 340-350whp on 93 at 22psi and about 18 degrees of timing give or take... I'm on e85 at 24-25psi with 28 degrees of timing thanks to E85 so "around" 400whp is not improbable... That's why I said around... I am under 400 but not far from it , so we will leave it at that and good night

Technical question. Does anyone know if there is any difference in the strut piston diameter between the wrx and sti? I just picked up a set of Koni inserts for my 08 wrx and was looking at giving the Epic engineering short bump stops a shot but they are only for the STI. I could not get a straight answer from either EPIC or KONI.

A weird patch of dried salt that's reflecting the glare oddly. It's filthy. Lol

The accident itself, a car was driving in the same direction driving erratically veering back and forth between the 2 lanes, as I'm approaching from behind he starts to veer in to right lane. I was in the left lane the whole time so when I approached I figured he saw me and was getting out of the way. Instead he suddenly made a left turn from 3/4 the way in the right lane. Too late for me to stop in time.

I just got my car back on the 2nd. It was in the body shop since october 13th

The car has been repaired pretty well, had to get a new kw v1 coilover ordered straight from Germany since the one was damaged. There are a couple issues and I hope someone can help me figure them out.
I also put on some rota grids 18x8.5 with 245/40 tires.

The issues:
  • The ride feels softer...is this due to newer tires? I cam from 17x9 with 245/40 tires.
  • The mpg is absolutely crap. Why would this even happen? Is it because of the bigger wheels/tires? I'm lucky to get 25-26 highway now when before I was getting 28-30 highway.
  • I get a lot more rubbing, of what I think is the front fender liners. I can't drive like a madman around corners anymore without the rubbing. I'm also guess this is due to the larger wheels/tires...?
  • The bracket securing the downpipe to the underbody was broken, thus a large hole in the downpipe. Already got that repaired.
  • My headlight was replaced with a new one, and the shop let me do the retrofit on the new one since they didn't know how. Since the headlight plastic is new, is it possible to get the other side back to the clarity of the new one so they match better?
