What size tires you running? That plays a big role in tire to fender gap.

summers are 235/40/18s on those gold tarmacs. my winter tires are 225/55/17. they are tall but just for winter season. i probably will go with a taller summer tire once these re11 tires wear out. i got them with the wheels barely used. i would never spend what these tires cost new for summers! too expensive.

Brake fluid takes the paint right off. Then just buff them back to where you want it. Paint was better imo.

I haven't had any luck, but does anyone know where, or if they even exist, I can find the "I" badge for our year?

paint comes right off no problem with thinner.

i couldnt get the vinyl to apply right. came out w airbubbles, used a plastic spreader and it just left scratches and marks all over it.

if wrappin vinyl on works for you, then great. i found it was easier to mask it off, and paint it (with the lights off the car.....) different strokes for different folks.

ive had experience with applying vinyl (vinyl wrapping) and ive done vinyl tints to tail lights befor for different cars with no problem. i guess it depends on the quality of the vinyl. where did you get your vinyl that didnt work out for you?
