![]() I got a question for the owners of Cosmos XT-206-R 18x9.5 et10. I recently purchased a set for my 2016 STI, read through this thread to see how people made a 15mm spacer work? Bought Project Kics 15mm hubcentric WTS. My issue is when I install the spacers my hub studs stick passed the spacers making my wheels hit the studs and not flat to the spacers. Did you guys cut the hub studs? Or did you go with a bigger spacer?

![]() Depending upon the type of spacers you run, you can cut the factory studs or use arp. some people go slightly less than 15mm like 12mm.

![]() I just went ahead and bought 25mm H&R spacers, it definitely rubs on stock springs. Will upload pictures if people want to see what the end result will be.

![]() Any rub or poke issues with 18x8.5 +35 R1s on a 15+ WRX?
I'm looking at the Hyper Bronze on my Red 17 WRX. If anyone has any pics of red with bronze, that would help my decision. Forgot to add I will be installing Eibach Lowering Springs with LCAs. Last edited by aluminumonkey; 06-04-2018 at 11:20 AM. |

![]() Just wanted to pipe up and show off my new shoes a bit but also convey some issues with fitment. they're not as straight bolt up as this thread suggests.
Got XT-005R's in white. 18x9 +25. Tyres are Michelin Pilot Sport 4 245/45/R18. Suspension is stock springs with KYB shocks. No intent on changing that setup as I don't really want to go lower. It's daily driven which means it needs to be practical, not #hellaflushomgwtfbbq #illeststickers+5kw absolutely love the look of them. but it's not an easy fitment. I'll have to get guards pulled shortly and check back with an update on the rubbing. i have a feeling the 245/45 isn't helping, a 245/40 would have been better. ![]() As you can see theres a bit of poke. it's not ridiculous enough to warrant new flares and cutting out the existing guards - but fielding opinions on how much i can pull out? Here's a tighter angle. ![]() The fronts do have a bit more poke than the rears but my biggest concern is clearance on full lock. Front wheel has about 1" around all edges which is fine for driving in a straight line and braking etc. ![]() With the factory guard liners in the front wheel wells there is a lot of rubbing. After I removed them, most of the rubbing is gone except when I go on full lock the wheel scrapes against the front of where the factory side skirt is attached and comes dangerously close (10mm or so) to this ridge/seam on the body below (marked in red). ![]() Can this ridge/seam be dollied down flat and a reinforcement weld be done before its sealed back with Urethane or would more inner wheel well work be required? (Or too hard basket - just sell the 245/45's and go down to 40's?) |

![]() Very nice! i would have suggested the 245/40 for sure. im yet to see anyone use the 45 profile on that wide of a tire, so i would say that is the issue.
