Had some serious fuel pressure issues prior to this. Once I pulled the old sender out to do all these mods I realized how bad the stock Forester sender is.
The return just kind of shoots down towards the sock filter from about 6" away. No internal surge tank or anything of any kind.

I used a 2007STI sender as a base here.

That setup still allow you the storage capacity you mentioned you would like to retain?

Yes indeed. The stock "floor" of the hatch fits right over top all this.

My GF was actually telling me to pull up the flooring at the last car thing I was at... you'd have no idea with the flooring in that there was anything odd back there.

Was out at Gingerman about a month ago and here is my best lap of the day. Lots of room to improve here but I was pretty happy to hit my sub 1:45 for my first time really driving the car at full pace at Gingerman.

Right after this or somewhere during this lap I jumped 3 timing teeth on the drivers side of the motor which ended my day.

It doesn't look like any motor damage was done and the car is since back up and running although the weather has turned terrible so I may have just fixed it to put it away for the winter.

Damn, jumping timing is scary! Glad it looks ok so far. I still need to get out to Gingerman someday!

Looks like I may be doing Road America near the end of May, then Gingerman, possibly also Grattan in June or July. I'll try to remember to keep you posted.

Headed 12 hours to Barber in Alabama this Saturday, hopefully the thing stays together so far from home!

Looks like it'll be between 7/26-7/29 for the official Gingerman event with the Impala club, but I'd like to try and squeeze some practice at a normal HPDE before the event, so I'm gonna poke around for something the prior weekend. May try and find something at Grattan too since I'll be out that way for the week. Money into noise.......

Unfortunately it's hibernating and not getting the next round of insanity I have planned for it but between trying to build a subie swapped type3 VW for my wife and customer project car it's been on the back burner.

Luckily I was able to recover from the timing jump with no damage. Upgraded to an IAG tensioner while I was in there to hopefully prevent it from happening again.

You can look up BRG Performance on instagram and Facebook too as that's a more reliable way to get ahold of me.

I plan on doing a full season of Gridlife in Street Mod class (and getting crushed on the regular) as long as I can get registered.

I'd like to do Road America this season as well and NCM and Mid-Ohio is possible... but we'll see how things go. Hopefully my plans don't have to go too far on the backburner while I try to push into doing more customer work and such.

Anywho... keep us updated... maybe they'll let a Forester in on Impala day?

Soft? Hah

I'll actually be going up to somewhere in the 6-700# range before the car hits the track this year... at least I plan to. With the added Aero it needs more spring and I also run basically stock STI swaybars and I don't want to add bar.

It tends to get a lot of attention. The real track people love it... the people in corvettes at Waterford Hills... maybe less so hah.
