I’m looking at the same package and trim as you on the wrx. The price they quoted is the lowest I’ve seen it. It is the invoice price. I’ve been waiting for my vip partnership membership to mature to get invoice -2%. The dealer I went to offered me that price if I wanted to buy the car the day I test drove. That is all I’ve seen near me.

Those look like normal prices to me.

I'd definitely look to put more than $2250 down on the purchase, though. Try $5k - $10k if you want to make your monthlies more affordable. Also check your credit and try and get it boosted (you'll have a few months to remedy credit if you order the car) so you can take advantage of the full mfr's interest rate through subaru motor's finance. 60 month loan is about the max you're going to want as well.

Send a PM to Nick at Planet. They're a NASIOC supporting vendor and good guys. I bought a used Legacy from them last summer. Go to the NASIOC vendor classified section for their posts and to send a PM. You can probably link this thread for them to give you a comparison.

I purchased a '19 STI last weekend with the Recaro package (Recaro seats & keyless access/push-button start), Popular package #1 (Center armrest extension, wheel locks, auto dimming compass mirror w/ homelink, rear cargo tray, and rear bumper applique), Shifter package (shift knob & STI short throw shifter), and rear splash guards.

MSRP $41,622
Invoice $38,802

I got it for $37,552 ($4,070 under MSRP, $1,250 under invoice) with Subaru's 1.9% financing. My documentation fee was only $80, but of course the sales tax is more in California.

The sticker on that STI was the same price as mine. Dealer took 4K off.

I just bought a 2019 STI Base in WRB. Retail was $38,444.00 with dealer options (All weather floor mats, cargo tray in trunk, dimming mirror with compass, rear bumper applique, rear bumper splash guards) and they took another 1,900 off MSRP and gave me $15,000 trade in on my car so I picked up mine for 21,544 before taxes ect... I also have a 8 year 80,000 full bumper to bumper warranty through Subaru, Free lifetime laser carwashes at the dealership. I financed through Subaru at 1.9 %APR. I absolutely love this STI. Its a blast to drive....

Can you send me his info? I was looking around the vendor area, but could not find it.

Thanks!

the selling price of a base STI with short throw shifter should be around $34,500. (translates to about $4000 off MSRP).

You can check the The 2019 WRX/STI Orders and Waiting Thread to see what others are paying. $4000 off MSRP seems to be a pretty common deal over the last few months.

I'd say that if you can get it down to invoice or at least $3500 off MSRP then you're getting a pretty good deal. Don't forget that you can call SoA to get an additional $500-$750 in loyalty cash to put towards your down payment if you currently own a Subaru.

Is that price with the $750 coupon?

Id try and get a local dealer to match the price, beats driving 2 hrs away.

That is the price without the coupon. I have reached out to other local dealers, it would be nice to not have to drive down to Mass. So far waiting to see if any other good offers come in.

Mass has some weird laws about transit plates, they may not have one for you. Personally i've always liked shopping and making a trip if it saves me a thousand bucks here and there. If you do my own service work, whats the point of having a real relationship with the dealer, in the sales dept they only want your money.

My 19 Limited with HK/Nav and some other options had msrp of about $35.5k, ended up getting it for $32,041 before taxes. After taxes (6%) and fees it was $34.2k. And they gave me a $250 gift card towards all season tires that they sold to me at cost and paid for mounting.

just recently paid $34,8XX for my WRB 19 STI Base with decent options (Short throw shifter, all weather mats, cargo tray, rear applique). Sticker was $38,8XX. Roughly $37,000 OTD. Bought the car in PA but I live in Central NJ.
